Job Context
- Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Rights & Governance (R&G) is considered as one of the cross-cutting sectors of DAM dedicated toward the right-based developmental approach. R&G Sector is flourishing through its multidimensional projects & institutes based upon rights oriented causes.
- "ASHSHASH (Phase-II) is a project of WINROCK International which is implemented by DAM through a partnership agreement. This 3 year, 4 month Ashshash (Phase-II) project is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh through WINROCK International. The main objective of the project is to ensure that "women and men who have escaped trafficking will restore their dignity and well-being and become self-sufficient". The survivors will be provided psychosocial counselling support along with other social services and facilitated opportunities for skill-development and entrepreneurship training. Upon completion of the training survivors will be placed in either wage-based and or self-employment. Furthermore, Ashshash will reach people in the project`s working areas; either directly or indirectly, through awareness-raising activities on factors that make people vulnerable to human trafficking, and to ensure the prevention of human trafficking.
- Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for the different position for ASHSHASH Phase-II project under Dhaka West and Manikganj District.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and provide need-based social protection services for the survivors of Ashshash project following project modality, principles, and guideline.
- Conduct thorough 'Needs-Assessment' to identify the types of social services contextually required by the survivors.
- Support to identify and map the public and private service-providers within the working areas, to avail the relevant social and economic support-services for the survivors, directly or indirectly.
- Establish a strong referral network within the working areas, with the public and private service providers.
- Support psychosocial counselling services in collaboration with psychosocial counsellors and ensure trauma counselling services through referral.
- Support Ashshash's SRPs and Career Counsellors with ongoing counselling services to motivate and develop socio-economic pathways of successful reintegration.
- Demonstrate sensitivity towards the survivor's trafficking contexts, gender-specific issues, and residual trauma, when communicating with the survivors.
- Maintain working relationship with activists, youth and peer groups, community-based organizations (CBOs), and community leaders, within the working areas, to effectively identify survivors, and work to ensure their sustainable reintegration;
- Demonstrate the ability to uphold Winrock International's 'Code of Conduct' and 'Do No Harm' policy, whilst working directly with the survivors to ensure their successful reintegration;
- Demonstrate the ability to uphold confidentiality of information when working with each survivor;
- Ability to maintain detailed case-systems for each survivor (i.e. case studies) to make and publish reports, and support the WI program teams with prompt assessment of survivors' contexts;
- Provide support to ensure baseline, mid-line, and final evaluations are conducted accurately, considering Winrock International's and the donor's requirements; and
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Required Languages: Strong written and oral command in English/Bangle is required.

Educational Requirements
- Post Graduate/Graduate in Social Sciences/Developmental Studies or any other relevant discipline from a reputed institution.
Experience Requirements
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 45 years (Flexible for highly experienced candidates);
- Minimum three years' of practical experience in managing cases through a dedicated system, for vulnerable groups/communities at grass roots-levels.
- Experience with detailed case management systems and reintegration services for human trafficking survivors, or vulnerable and at-risk groups.
- Experience with the detailed documentation of providing social and economic support-services to trafficking survivors or vulnerable and at-risk groups, and detailed reporting mechanisms;
- Knowledge on Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks of development organizations
- Demonstrate positive attitude and sensitivity to support vulnerable and at-risk groups, and communities;
- Strong understanding of gender and diversity issues;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills; and
- Basic computer proficiency: i.e. MS Office, database management, coordination via email, project-specific management information systems, etc.

Salary
- 30,000 – 35,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 4% inflation)
