Job Context

• The Feed the Future Bangladesh Agricultural Infrastructure Development Activity is a five-year, initiative implemented by Amentum Services Inc. (amentum)-PAE Government Services Inc (PAE). Dhaka Ahsania Mission is partner to accelerate the program activities. The Activity’s goal is to improve agricultural infrastructure to increase the availability of quality and safe agricultural produce for domestic, regional, and international markets that will benefit the agricultural value chain across the FTF zones.

Job Location: Four Upazillas in Faridpur District.

Job Responsibilities
He/She will be responsible for mechanical design works for the regulator gate design, electrically gate operation, pump etc. and to assist the Design Manager to complete the project preparation works and stated below:

• • • Assess the field conditions and requirements;
    • Design the mechanical gate of regulator and electrically gate operation system;
    • Design development of mechanical components;
    • Design the pumping station for irrigation or drainage purposes if required;
    • Preparation of cost-estimate, BOQ and technical specifications of mechanical component;
    • Any other task as required by the Client.

Employment Status
Contractual Consultancy Mood (as per project agreement)

Educational Requirements

• He/She should possess Bachelor’s Degree and Certifications for Mechanical Engineering.

Additional Requirements

• Should have more than 12-years’ experience in mechanical design, installation and commissioning work.
• Both Male & Females are allowed to apply.
• Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.
• Should have excellent computer skills.

• Modern System adaptability & Creativity.

Salary:
Grade-11, as per project budget.
