Job Context

• The Feed the Future Bangladesh Agricultural Infrastructure Development Activity is a five-year, initiative implemented by Amentum Services Inc. (amentum)-PAE Government Services Inc (PAE). Dhaka Ahsania Mission is partner to accelerate the program activities. The Activity’s goal is to improve agricultural infrastructure to increase the availability of quality and safe agricultural produce for domestic, regional, and international markets that will benefit the agricultural value chain across the FTF zones.

Job Location: Four Upazillas in Faridpur District.

Job Responsibilities
He/She will be responsible for topographical and engineering survey works with level machine or total station or cadastral survey works in projects and to assist the Design Manager to complete the project preparation works and stated below:

• Determine land ownership of the proposed road and market infrastructure development work through examining the C.S & R.S or BS Map in the pre and post planning/design stage.
• Update current infrastructures (private and public) status in the market periphery map through physical verification.
• Assist survey subcontractor in preparing the topographic survey map. Review topographic survey map.
• Assist construction subcontractor in fixing lines/layout of construction work to ensure the construction is on public land.
• Any other task as required by the Client.

Contractual Consultancy Mood (as per project agreement)

Educational Requirements

• He/She should possess Bachelor’s Degree and Certifications in Civil Engineering or Survey Diploma and Certifications in Survey Technology/Civil Technology.

Additional Requirements

• Should have more than 12-years’ experience in Civil Engineering or more than 16 years’ working experience in survey works.
• Both Male & Females are allowed to apply.
• Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.
• Should have excellent computer skills.

Salary:
Grade-11, as per project budget.
