Job Context:
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions for immediate appointment in the ongoing  SHOUHARDO III Project, in partnership with  CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is  to “Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people within Bangladesh for 549,00 poor and extremely poor people by 2020” . DAM is implementing  the SHOUHARDO III program in   Sunamganj ( Tahirpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachang & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) districts supported by CARE Bangladesh.

Field Trainer-Governance & Youth (Gov& Y)

Job Description / Responsibility:
The field trainer, union based for G&Y is responsible for ensuring that program participant groups have the capacity and support needed to ensure continued practice of behaviors that enhance increase services from the local government specifically of Union Parishad and major Nation Building Departments (NBDs) in the target communities. S/he will monitor progress at group level and work with the TO-G&Y to prescribe remedial actions. S/he will be assigned to a number of villages in a union and will engage directly with the group leaders, UP chairman, Ward Members, field level NBDs staff and at times may need to deal with the community as directed by the TO-G&Y.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Resides in the union of assignment
• 2/3 years' experience in development projects/multi sectoral projects
• Basic Understanding on UP, Field level NBDs and their role
• Good understanding of Bangla and basic English Language
• Capacity to operate Tablet and write basic reports
• Good communication and mobilization/facilitation capacity.
• Field Trainer- Governance & Youth should be given preference for recruitment from working Upazilas' or minimum from respective working districts.

Job Location: Ajmiriganj  upazilla of  Hobigonj districts

Salary: Tk. 17,250(Monthly)
