Job Context

• DAM invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for above position for its Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities (SHOUHARDO-III) Program in 4 (Four ) Upazilas under Sunamgonj and Hobigonj districts supported by CARE Bangladesh funded by USAID & Bangladesh Government.
• Contract duration : Up to June 2020

Job Description / Responsibility
The Market Facilitator is mainly responsible for development of market linkage for PEP participants including farmers and other Core Occupation Group (CoG) members, collectors and paravets, facilitating skills development for youth and capacity building to the different types of private sectors at local level, build capacity of FFBS groups and IGA participants. Assist to Field Facilitators (FF) in ensuring the market linking between Poor and Extreme Poor (PEP) members and wholesalers/buyers.

Educational Requirements
Commerce Graduate/Graduate with having diploma in Agriculture (will get preference)/Bachelor degree in any discipline with relevant experience.

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)

Job Requirements

• Age at most 35 years ( age may be relaxed in case of deserving candidate)  
• 3 years relevant working experience in any development organization.
• Computer skills
• Valid M/C driving license
• Willing to travel frequently.
• Ability to maintain liaison with the District and Upazila level government officials like; Department of Youth Development, Technical/vocational training center/institutes, UNOs etc. and also elected representatives.
• Experience in working with the multi-interventions program.
• Working experience with the private companies and training institutes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla

Authority:

• Reports to Technical Officer-Agriculture & Livelihood of SHOUHARDO III Program. The MF will directly communicate with the FF, FS, TOs and M&E peoples for technical clarity guidance and maintain quick upward and downward information flow. If need S/he will communicate with APMs and PMs.

Coordination/contact with:

• Maintains close contact with Field Facilitators and other staff as appropriate. Will from time to time work with CARE TM and STC PSE.
